Variety of screen mesh types available, Yuanpeng Screen offers three different mesh types, allowing operators to choose the most efficient mesh type for the job without sacrificing durability and fluid processing capacity.

Fine (GF) Cloth

The wire diameter of GF screens is thicker than that of SH screens, and the mesh is square. The GF screen is designed to maintain the integrity of the cutting point and reduce clogging by particles of similar size while maximizing the screens lifespan.

Extra Fine (SH) Cloth

The SH Ultra-fine screen is specially designed to deal with drilling operations in sandstone formations. The use of GF screens in sandstone formations is prone to mesh blockage problems. Our SH screen is made of two layers of Ultra-fine mesh fabric and one layer of thick wire diameter support mesh fabric, with a square mesh shape. The SH screen is designed to maximize the screen processing capacity and maintain the integrity of the cutting points, while minimizing the clogging of particles of similar size.

High Performance (LH) Cloth

The HR screen adopts two layers of rectangular mesh fabric and one layer of thick-wire diameter support square hole mesh fabric. The combination of the three layers of mesh fabric endows it with outstanding mud processing capacity and a longer services life. The HR screen achieves higher fluid processing capacity and reduces screen clogging without affecting the integrity of the cutting point.

What is API RP 13C (ISO 13501)?

A physical testing and labeling procedure for shaker screens. Screens that comply with the API RP 13C standard need to undergo two tests: cut point and conductance, these two tests describe the characteristics of the screen but do not represent its performance. The cut point is determined by matching the cut point of each API label on the screen with the nearest ASTM sieve hole cut point. Particles larger than the API number with be retained and screened out, while those smaller will pass through. Conductance measures the ability of fluids to pass through a screen. A higher conductance value indicates that the fluid can pass through more easily than a screen with a lower conductance value, meaning that the fluid has a higher permeability on a screen with a higher conductance value. After determining the cut point and conductance of each API number, API RP 13C requires that a permanent label be adhered to the screen to make it clearly visible and easy to read.

Yuanpeng screen label is Oil-resistant、heat-resistant and resistant to chemical corrosion, ensuring that the screen data can be easily identified during the second use.
